9.O Financial Responsibility:

No organizational unit of the Users' Group or Users' Group Member or staff member shall have the authority to pledge the credit of the Users' Group, except as specifically authorized by the Board.

9.1 Execution of Contracts:

The Board may authorize any officers, agent or agents, in the name of and on behalf of the User's Group to enter into any contract or execute and satisfy any instrument, and any such authority may be general or confined to specific instances.

9.2 Deposits and Checks:

All checks, drafts and other orders for payment of money out of the funds of the Users' Group shall be signed on behalf of the Users' Group by two officers, one of whom shall be the Finance Committee Chair, or if unavailable, the Chair of the Board. The funds of the Users' Group not otherwise employed shall be deposited from time to time to the order of the Users' Group in such banks, trust companies or other depositories as the Board may select.

9.3 Books and Records:

There shall be kept at the principal residence of the Chair of the Finance Committee correct books of account of all the business and transactions of the Users' Group and shall be open to inspection by the members in the manner and to the extent required by law.

9.4 Fees:

The Board may initiate action to obtain funds through membership fees, site fees, annual meeting registration, and other appropriate revenue generation activities.

9.5 Insurance:

The Board may approved expenditures for insurance on behalf of an individual against liability asserted against or incurred member of the Board, employee or agent of the corporation.
